Oxytocin (2019)
Oxytocin is our first full length album. This album was written during a time when Jorgen was healing from significant heartbreak and Chris was making the transition to a new life in Washington. Oxytocin is the chemical that creates the feeling of comfort and love with someone and it can be incredibly addicting. Supposedly, when someone suffers heartbreak the effects of the lack of oxytocin are almost the same as a heroin addict going through withdrawal. This album was the duo’s way of coping and healing as they went through this withdrawal and transition into new areas of their lives. The album begins by conveying Jorgen’s suffering and the story of his heartbreak and gradually it develops into more positive and upbeat songs. Many of these songs also display a new stylistic realm that Chris began exploring after moving to Washington state. Leaving his friends in the distance, the sense of rawness and aloneness allowed for creative freedom for him to push his musical talent to areas he didn’t expect. These sonic journeys combine jazz, RnB, and hip hop influences with the atmospheric soundscapes that Amitė has keyed as their own unique sound. These instrumentals provided Jorgen with a perfect template to express his edgier, confident, sexual side and provide a much needed contrast to the darker songs at the beginning of the album. This album takes the listener through a wide range of styles and features 6 other vocalists. Although this album is based around a central theme it is meant to be more of a showcase of our diversity and capabilities as opposed to a concept piece.

Nomad EP (2018)
This is the first EP release by Amitė which makes it all the more meaningful to us. The title of this album 'Nomad' has many different meanings that are displayed throughout the arrangement of tracks. As people who left the small town we both grew up in, we often feel as if we are the nomads. Constantly on the move searching for bigger and better things, or constantly on the move running from problems we don't want to face.
Nomad represents the journey we all go through on our pursuit towards happiness. This EP conveys our greatest loves and losses throughout the last four years and ends on a positive and hopeful note with the final song Into The Wild. This song describes us as we move on to the next stage of our lives. We are always moving, we are always changing, we are Nomads.
